Safety in the workplace saves lives. It also prevents injuries and is worth
millions every year to businesses across the country and the companies that insure them. That's why corporations join the Central Mass Safety Council as corporate members with the National Safety Council.
We work closely with OSHA officials and offer classes in forklift train the trainer, lock out tag out, machine guarding, hoisting, and first aid. We offer an excellent OSHA 110-hour construction course. We also
provide frequent updates on regulations and safety issues. Members have access and discounts to all National Safety Council resources including textbooks, visual aids and safety periodicals. Courses are held at the Safety Center and on-site to both member and non-member companies.

Every 12 minutes someone dies in a car crash. At 40,000 fatalities a year, a car is deadlier than all natural disasters
combined and the leading cause of death for people under 30. The
tragic fact is that most of these accidents can be prevented.
Teaching people how to drive responsibly is what we're all about. It's
called defensive driving and it's the reason
the CENTRAL MASS SAFETY COUNCIL AUTO SCHOOL was founded. RMV-approved, and a member of the national and state driving school associations, we train over 3000 students a year at nine different locations.

Defensive Driving
One-thousand-one, one-thousand-two, one-thousand-three. That's the amount of time it should take you to pass an object that the car in front of you has just passed, anything less is unsafe. The Three
Second Rule is one of the life-saving techniques discussed at our four-hour DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE (DDC-4) co-sponsored by the National Safety Council.
Speeding, drinking alcohol and reckless driving are obvious killers. Come to our monthly nationally-recognized class because you?ll also learn what practices make driver inattention deadly. Courses are offered both at the Central Mass Safety Center in West Boylston or at your preferred site.
